Available in the following Finishes:
- Mill Brass- As it comes from the mill, ready for polishing or to have a surface finishing if required, may have light surfaces blemishes/marks from storage.
- Satin Brass- Lightly Brushed/sanded surface finish to remove any surfaces blemishes/marks. A more consistent finish than mill.
- Bronze Antiqued- A chemically applied surface finish , blackish in colour, designed to create an aged unpolished look. Please note: This is a hand applied finish with variances between batches and can not be guaranteed against wear
- Antique Brass- A chemically applied surface finish for a more subtle solid brass insert alternative with a traditional aged look. Please note: This is a hand applied finish with variances between batches and can not be guaranteed against wear
General description:
Our range of Solid Brass flat plate stair and floor inserts are a decorative alternative to the traditional aluminium nosings for areas requiring a more aesthetically pleasing and minimalistic look. Usually installed grouped in groups of 3 or more strips, they provide step edge delineation and some slip resistance, and are designed for use in internal dry environments.
Commonly used for creating features in floors, between different flooring finishes, and adding features and delineation to step edges they are suitable for use in a variety of surface materials including stone, wood, and tiled floors to name a few.
our range of solid brass inserts are designed to be rebated into preformed or cut grooves in your flooring surface and simply bonded into place with adhesive, and are Suitable for use in internal dry environments with medium to heavy foot fall such as: Bars, Hotels, shops, Cafés, Offices, and schools. They have a less industrial look then a traditional stair nosings and are perfect for areas where aesthetics are key.
Our range of solid brass flat plate inserts are available in mill, satin, antique brass, and a bronze antique finish. Please note the mill brass is supplied as it comes from the mill and may have light scratching and blemishes on it, and the antiqued finishes are only surface finishes and not guaranteed against any wear. The range of antiqued finishes are designed to give the brass inserts a more traditional look and allow the brass to age naturally if the finish wears. However, If the antiqued finish applied to your brass inserts wears this can be easily touched up or reapplied with one of our touch up kits, please contact us to discuss. Supplied cut to your required length(s) in order to reduce labour and waste on site, or we can also provide these stair inserts in stock lengths if you would prefer to cut to size yourselves, please contact us to discuss your needs.
