These 6mm Composite Anti-Slip Insert strips offer a durable safety solution that create a high friction surface that actively reduces the risk of slipping and tripping. For retail stores, sports centres and educational buildings alike.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into your working environment, these multitread anti-slip composite strips can be fitted to both internal and external stairs treads alike. The slim profile means you have to remove less material from your step for fitting and the grit free anti-slip surface reduces the risk of damage cause to your wooden or polished step surface, as it will not shed any abrasive material.
Manufactured from a rubber composite material they are hardwearing, durable, ,and suitable for heavy foot traffic meeting the requirements of busy environments. Designed to be rebated into steps, without the need for an aluminium stair nosing, they are unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing. Our composite insert material has some flexibility to it meaning it can conform to a slight curve, making it ideal for installation into stairs with a radius. Available to order online in 6mm thick and widths from 10-60mm, however, They can also be produced in a range of different widths from 9mm – 295mm, contact us for details.
They are designed to be installed into a rebate that has been either precast or cut from your step material, and bonded in place using a suitable adhesive. Suitable for installation into many surface materials including concrete, stone, marble, terrazzo, ceramic and timber.
