3.5mm Gauge Aluminium Nosings
Our 3.5mm gauge range consists profiles designed for a surface mount fixing in areas with light-medium levels of foot traffic, and are suitable for a use alongside a variety of different flooring materials including carpets, LVT, tiles, timber flooring, and concrete to name a few.
Our 3.5mm gauge range of nosings come with a variety of anti-slip infill options, which all have the benefit of a hidden fixing installation, as the insert is supplied loose and is installed after the nosing has been fixed over the top of the screws.
Our range of 3.5mm stair edgings are available with our Ridged PVC insert, Ridged Aluminium and markagrip gritted insert, providing a wide range of insert colours and appearance.
Our Ridged Aluminium insert provides the look of a solid aluminium edging while allowing for hidden fixings. This is available in three different finishes, mill finish, satin bushed and anodised black to match or contrast (upon special request – please contact the sales office) the nosing’s body.
Our Ridged PVC insert is great for internal stair installations with its softer, non-abrasive texture. The ridged surface provides extra anti-slip properties, coming in a range of colours, carbon, storm, fog, frost, snow and canary.
The markagrip Gritted insert is constructed from aluminium oxide bonded to a self adhesive carrier, which makes it hard wearing and gives it excellent anti-slip properties. This makes our markagrip gritted insert suitable for a wide range of applications both externally and internally.
The 3.5mm gauge aluminium stair nosing range has options available in a range of surface finishes which includes Black Anodised nosings. The Black Anodised finish offers a great alternative to a traditional aluminium or brass finish and gives a more contemporary and innovative look.
Our 3.5mm range is available in various colours in order to allow you to create a contrasting nosing to the surrounding step, aiding the visually impaired and helping comply to building regulations and British standards recommendations. It is always recommended that the nosing and infill colour selected is at least 30 points difference to that of the stair substrate in order to delineate the step edge.
This range step edge nosings are proudly designed and manufactured by us in the UK at our Somerset based workshop, and are available to order online in stock sizes which can be easily cut on site or to your bespoke measurements.
